RUNNING GREENSTONE 2

You can start the library server by running gs2-server.sh|bat. This runs a little graphical program where you can change some settings, and enter the library - will visit the library in a browser window.

Running GLI (gli/gli.sh|bat) will also start the library server if it wasn't already started. You can visit a collection by clicking the Preview button from a collection's Build or Format panes.

For command line startup, use gsicontrol.sh|bat.

Run this without any options to see the list of options.

eg gsicontrol.sh web-start to start the webserver. If you haven't changed any settings then you can visit:
localhost:8282/greenstone/cgi-bin/library.cgi
